FAURECIA SEATING PÍSEK

Faurecia Components Písek is one of the most successful plants in Europe for the production of car seats. The plant has been manufacturing metal structures for car seats since 2007. They specialize in producing car seats for major automotive companies such as BMW, Porsche, Porsche Panamera, VW Group, PSA Group, and GM Europe.

The primary manufacturing technology used in production is welding, both through traditional methods and the use of the most advanced laser welding technology. This may be why specialists from various fields work here. The plant also performs the assembly of these structures on modern production lines and the painting of steel seat frames.

Currently, the plant employs around 500 employees in production and administration and communicates daily with customers and suppliers from around the world.

FAURECIA SEATING PLZEŇ

Faurecia in Nýřany near Plzeň is the youngest plant in the Czech Republic. Operations were initiated on May 1, 2013, and it manufactures seats for 4 key customers: BMW, OPEL, VW, and Mercedes Benz. The plant produces 600,000 complete sets for automobiles annually. They operate in a Just-in-Time (JIT) mode, which means they have almost no stock inventory. Their production is highly dynamic, as the seats manufactured in Nýřany are assembled into finished cars in Germany within 20 hours.

The plant has around 1000 employees and is continuously expanding.

FAURECIA CLEAN MOBILITY BEZDĚČÍN

The first production started here on May 1, 2013, with approximately 100 employees. Over time, the plant has grown and currently employs around 700 employees.

Among the plant's key customers are: FORD, VW, FIAT, TOYOTA, RENAULT, NISSAN, DACIA, and others.

FAURECIA CLEAN MOBILITY BAKOV

Faurecia Clean Mobility Bakov is a plant that began construction in June 1999, and the first production phase was opened in January 2000. The entire plant, as you can see it today, has gradually grown in three stages.

The number of employees is around 450, including agency operators.

The main customers are primarily the Volkswagen Group, JLR, Stellantis, Volvo, Audi, Daimler, and a whole range of other car manufacturers.

The plant is very stable in terms of its employees, and the average seniority in both production and support functions is around 8.5 years.

Currently, the production is mainly focused on the "cold end," which refers to the exhaust system from the catalyst to the tailpipe.

A specific feature of the Bakov plant is the production of exhaust valves, which are components of the exhaust system. They enhance the engine's performance and create a sound effect, especially in powerful sports cars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and others, but recently they have also started to be used in other cars.

At the Bakov plant, you will encounter the latest metal processing technologies, including cold forming and pressing of sheets and tubes, as well as various welding technologies, both manual and robotic welding. In March 2017, the first "cobot" was installed, bringing Bakov closer to digitization and automation.
